I woke up this morning feeling really bad. I'm achy, have a bit of a headache, running a lowgrade fever...just over all feel crappy. Is there anything I can purchase OTC that might help me to feel better fast? I have some major plans for the weekend, and can't afford to be sick. Thanks!!

Sounds like a virus....nothing you can do to get rid of it. Taking OTC's will only make the symptoms go away but will prolong the illness. Best to drink plenty of water,eat some good chicken soup and get plenty of rest. You can take a pain reliever that won't hurt.Help reduce your fever too!

It sounds like you have a cold or even the flu (with the achiness). Perhaps some Dayquil or Tylenol Cold & Sinus would help (if your head is stuffy at all). Also try taking some vitamin C and zinc. Be sure to stay well hydrated because dehydration just makes any symptoms worse. Rest as much as you can too!
I hope this helps and feel better soon! I'm sorry I couldn't make any better suggestions but it's hard to tell what to do when I'm not even sure of the diagnosis. :) In any case, none of that stuff I suggested would hurt.

Won't get ten on this but.....I have had, along with my husband and son, the same thing for two weeks. Went to the Dr., he said that some people have this ick for 6 to 8 weeks. Antibiotics slowed it down but did not help it. IF YOU FIND AN OTC that helps please see my e-mail and let me know. Best we are doing is just working through it. something with zinc in it or here's a couple of products that may help- COLD-fx or Coldcure.
