i agree.apparently society has given up to the new age way of thinking.i truly wish that things were back in the day of manners and ethics.when the teachers lost control in the schools because parents of today want their children to have freedom of eveything, that's when the sh t hit the fan.imho!
problem being,no control.

It's the way things are progressing, and it's sick. This is a little off the subject, but there aren't really 'family' shows on t.v. anymore. Shows that were family oriented like full house, family matters, Fresh prince, etc. People are getting cruder and it's becoming 'the norm'. I'm scared to death for my future kids' sakes. I don't feel that children are being taught morals andvalues like even I was as a child...and I'm sure my parents thought that when I was born....

I know it. Just the other day, I was at the LGBT section, and some "christian" came in telling me that the way God made me was "wrong."

I just don't see how spreading hatred, bigotry, discrimination and therefore violence against LGBT people can be anything but hypocritical and black-hearted. But I guess I just am a person who listens to the religious teachings of love, tolerance, and jusitce. Go figure.

Yes, I know what you mean. Its all about themselves in this fast materialistic society, "I want, I need.." kind of attitude. Even the ones who fall by the wayside ie get involved in drugs, they get rewarded with shopping vouchers if they stay clean (Excuse me, but who made them get hooked in the first place?) Kids who stay off school get whizzed around in limosines if they go for a couple of days a week! No wonder nobody has manners. They get rewarded for being bad.

Society is becoming more demanding...and people are being driven by greed.

Those that are getting to the 'top' are doing so by stepping on others.

Morals and values didn't go away. It's the people who went awry. When we don't teach our kids morals and values, especially by example, it will come back on us.
