Just asking because some people may think it is terrible and retared but to be honest, My step dad and my mom they found eachother....If my dad wasn't my dad I probably would of choosen my step dad, because
(A)- for one my real father died when I was 9yrs old and secondly my step dad is a real nice guy who is from the states-Michigan.
So my question is, Out of EVERYONE on here who actually found love (that stayed and still is) Do not need other ppl saying how bad it is keep that COMMENT to yourself please
Only good reviews
Thanks,
Jackie

I met my boyfriend on the yahoo personals 6 months ago. We are very much in love and are moving in together this weekend. I would have never found him if it wasn't for the dating service. Finding him is the best thing that's happened to me. From our first emails back and forth we just clicked and we have been together ever since.
When I tried the dating service I didn't have good hopes for finding anyone and I did go on several dates before him. You do have to weed through the people with issues that are on there.

my bf messaged me on myspace.. we ended up meeting and hanging out for an entire day.. :) we went and saw a movie.. ate some dinner, played some pool.. he lived only 45 minutes away from (i think living close is definatly the key to making an online relationship work)..
um we have been together for nearly 2 years now (we met the day before or the day after valentines day).. we have lived together for a bit over a year now (a year or so in october).. we are pretty much inseperable.. and get along quite well.. we compliment eachothers personalities really well he's more outgoing and i'm more shy and quiet.. we balance each other out well..

My neighbor and his wife met each other on line about 10 years ago and are still together! Here's a good one for you; My friend's husband left her and their 4 kids for someone he met online...it didn't work out and he tried to come back, for about 5 minutes! My friend then left HIM for a guy she met online and she's still with her online guy 5 years later! True story!

No ive never met & found love on the internet, but i can understand how easy it could be to fall in love. Especially with a complete stranger, i thinks its the unknown that can excite people. I myself wouldnt want to meet anyone online, i dont think they can be trusted!! So be careful!!

Actually posted my pic on match and get a response from a person with no picture in there profile. I made a pact with myself that I would not go out with someone who does not post there pic but for some reason there was somethign special about her so after chatting for a bit she sent me a pic and we dated for at least 6 months. She was an amazing person and glad that she was in my life

I met my spouse through Collegeclub.com. We were in the same college, but would have never ever crossed paths had it not been for collegeclub. That was almost seven years ago that we met, and we gor married in 2002. So it is possible. My spouse is my best friend. Could not imagine my life without my spouse in my life.

I met my husband-to-be (March 31!) on a dating website. Works for lots of people. It's hard to meet people in today's world...particularly people like he and I who aren't into to bar and club scene. I have another friend who just married her sweetie...and they met on Match. Works, but I think people do have issues with it and that's OK, too.
