No, I am afraid there is no home remedie. It should be treated like a burn. But the depth of the injury can be misleading. It should be seen by an MD.

frostbite is when the water in the cells crystalize shredding the cells (thing a balloon filled with razorblades and you have the idea)
superficial frostbite has maybe the top couple layers problomatic. not a huge issue but it's REAL hard to tell whats superficial and whats not.
the REAL problem with frostbite is that when you damage the tissue the circulatory system gets damaged as well this means no blood and just like wrapping a tight rubber band around your ankles and leaving it would be bad so to woudl be severe or even mild frostbite. the basic answer _SEE A DOCTOR ASAP_ if it is superficial then it's no biggy and you will be out of there in no time. if it is NOT superficial you may just save a foot a te or your LIFE! there is _no_ home remidy for frostbite that can not be done with a safer and more intellegent manor at a doctor. just like a tornoquet is a home remidie for an amputation and CAN be used....your more likely to LIVE and maybe even gain that arm back by going to the doctor...and not by a small amount but by a BIG percentage. unless your lost in the woods for a month and have no access to a hospital then frostibite is not a 'do it yourself' condition.

Sounds like second degree superficial frost bite and needs immediate attention. Until then, keep the blistered areas clean to prevent infection and get to a doctor. This is rather serious condition. The bloodflow is restricted to the areas and infection can't be fought off as easily. Best wishes.

Frostbite is when the cold kills off the skin and deeper into the flesh. So, no, there is no cure for frostbite. This is a SERIOUS condition you need to see the doctor for ASAP. The reason is it could turn gangrenous. That's a life threatening situation. What they do is scrape or cut away the dead flesh (depending on how deep it is) before it can start to rot. This then heals normally.

This is one of the many situations where relying on "home remedies" and other snake oil alternative treatments is so monumentally stupid, it, quite literally, can kill you.

Go see your doctor.

Look up pictures and symptoms of frostbite online. If he has it run to the hospital before he loses his whole hand!
