The IRS only does direct deposits on fridays so depending on the day of the week you file you may or may not get it deposited the following friday. If you filed on monday most likely it would be deposited next friday if you just filed yesterday or today it would most likely be deposited in two weeks

You get it within 2 weeks after the IRS acknowledges and approve your tax return. After it is acknowledge wait a day and check on the IRS website "where is my refund?" to know the exact date it will be deposited.

Last year it took 6 days (weekend included), the year before 10, 13 days for year (03) and I anticipate it being between the two this year.

They say between 7-10 days of your acceptance date by the IRS

Two weeks or usually less, if there's no problem with your return. Deposits are made on the Friday following 1 week after your return is accepted.

I did mine a week ago & the money will be deposited in my account either today or Monday. I used H&R block on line and was very happy with it. I was even able to do my state taxes.

Good luck, Lynn
