What state is she in? You could have one of your friends or one of us (or something) buy them with the cage and everything and then deliver them with a huge bow to her doorstep. Make sure that whoever you get to do it knows to get the food, some toys, a cage and a book on lovebird care for your wife when they deliver them. You could have them put a bow on the whole cage, and then wrap the other package all together. You can send whoever you're getting to do it an email for your wife to put on the top of the package before they wrap it.
If your wife lives in Michigan I'll do it. I even know where to get hand fed lovebirds!

No family or friends in your State that could help? If not repost your question with more details...name of home town etc. I'm sure somebody out there would be willing to help you out, just need more particulars.
It would be a wonderful surprise, just make sure she (and you) are willing to take on the responsibility of owning a pair of lovebirds. Check them out on the net. They're not a quiet breed of birds!
Thanks for serving! If you don't have any luck getting them for Valentine's Day, you can get them for her when you get home!
God Bless!

First thank you for serving and good luck while you are deployed. It would probably be easier if you got a family member to take care of that for you, if not go on line to a Petsmart or a bird breeder that will ship.

Unless she has been outright saying she really wants them, pets make terrible gifts. They're decade or more long commitments that require thousands of dollars beyond the original spending amount and she needs a wealth of knowledge to care for them properly and avoid heartbreak.
Besides that warning, I don't think there would be a way for her to not know about the birds before getting them if you're so far away.

My suggestion is,If you have a family member close to her and can go to a pet store or sometimes they run adds in the local newspaper. They could purchase them for you and give them to your wife. Really is a sweet thing for you to do for her, after all look where you are and I for one do appreciate you for being there. I would do it for you but don't know where or how to get them to her. Thanks and good luck

You can try http://www.petfinder.com to see if there are any breeders/suppliers of lovebirds in your home area.
That is a very sweet and romantic idea! Come home safe!
