I need it to synch video and sound

AudioHijack is an excellent program that rips sound right from your browser, or any program for that matter, on to your desktop as an mp3 file. I have the free version so it will only record up to 10 minutes of sound before white noise is added to the track, so if you need more time, buy the pro version which is only $16.

Hmm...
U can use the windows sound recorder and set the audio source to stereo mix,, that will grab any sound that plays on ur speakers wherever it comes from..
If u need advanced options I suggest u get a specialist software.. like " SnagIt" it works cool n it can even grab video along with the sound. its got a lot of cool features regarding capturing from a webpage.

Go to any file sharing site and search for "Audio Recorder Deluxe" It is exactly what you are looking for. It records any sound/music that is playing on your computer exactly as it is and you have option to save the sound/music as mp3 or wav file. Enjoy!

no but this one does great www.audacity.com take the beta version.
You can also you flash to do it!
