Addictions for sure. But what about the innocents affected by
those with addictions? Partners, children. What about those with
serious emotional problems who can't help themselves?
Do you know you pay trillions in taxes to help the underpriviledged
in this country, only to have people who are supposed to help them
leave them out on the streets to die? Because they have a personal dislike for them, or are having a "bad hair" day? And they
don't even care?
Shouldn't government set the example? Instead of justifying
routine negligence by complaining of paperwork and being
back-logged?
I'm not trying to kill them like they're killing us. It's the stinking

Yes I agree. In Europe there's much less of these kind of social problems.

For instance the housing authority here in Ft. Lauderdale is a big bureaucracy; all they seem to do is shuffle paperwork around. But virtually outside their door, in the park, there are homeless people.

I've suggested many times that they should form an 'outreach team', to go out and look for these people. They simply shrug their shoulders and say 'that's not our job'.
