Sex can just be sex but in a meaningful relationship Sex is the physical manifestation of the feelings that you have for one another. It's how you show love and how you feel love. It's very important, not the most important, but it's up there.

Sex is one of the many ways you show a person how much you love them in a relationship. Because sex is supposed to be an intimate thing that 2 people share and feel connected. In my relationship its a healthy additional but its not what makes our relationship whole. What makes are relationship whole is communication, trust, love, care, affection to name a few. So no sex is not an important factor in my relationship but it is included.

This answer is a bit longer than the rest, but I think more detail is needed. Yes sex is important in any serious relationship/marriage. But if you are asking if sex is neccesary in any relationship, no it is not. Sex should be something special between you and your partner and not done with just anyone you hang out with.

Sex is definitely not important in my relationship. My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 6 months and we haven't had sex yet. I feel there are other ways of making each other feel good than resorting to doing it sexually. Sex too early in a relationship may cause complications.

Depends. That's all I want in a relationship, so obviously it's important. But if you're more of a romantic, it drops a little on the priority scale.
