forgot to say that if i have a cloak, the dress would be white-ish (stark white is not very pleasing to look at in my opinion) with floral emboridery (all dresses would have floral or celtic emboridery) and the cloak would be blue...how does that sound? and what would be a good shade of blue since my fiance is wering royal blue doublet with a white tunic?
i'm glad people like my design...makes me think becoming a costumer is a good idea!! thanks for the confidence boost!

I like the first one and the one you designed the best. I don't think I'd go with blue for your dress though. Maybe you could accent it with blue, but stick with ivory for the actual dress.
I went to a wedding like this a few years back, it was stunning. I had my doubts, but I was totally and completely blown away.
As far as the cloak, if you really want to wear it, why not use it as a "going away" thing..I don't like the idea of it for the actual ceremony. The wedding I attended the bride changed into another dress and used the cloak as they left (rode away on a horse actually)
Best of luck, it will be beautiful I'm sure.

I like the first one the best. The color will be flattering on most people (at least, it looks cream to me). The fit is a little more modern. It still looks very medieval, but it will make you look like you have something of a waist, and the arms aren't so large and floppy. I think some of the other ones look very, very Renn Faire costume-y thing. The first one has the medieval feel but would flatter most body types.
I also like the second one, especially the color. However, that neckline doesn't look good on most people. Maybe you could talk to the designer about having the first dress dyed or made in blue!

In my opinion, I prefer the first dress. It looks medeival, but it also is simple and elegant. I think having a blue dress is a good idea, not so sure about the cloak though. But, if ur having some trouble deciding, you can look into the option of having one custom made and then you can incorporate anything you want into your wedding dress. Most wedding companies now offer this option.
Hope this helps :)

Definitely not the cloak. I'd try to talk you out of the dress, too, but it sounds like that's what you have your heart set on. To each his own. And go for the blue dress if you want...the dress and the wedding itself are "different" enough that you can get away with it.

so, I checked out the dresses. my favorite is the nathalies one. they are all nice. Try not to get one that is a costume, it looks very halloweenish. Very nice idea for the medieval wedding. My friend had one of those, except she opted for a wedding dress. You can probobly get a plain off white dress and have someone sow on blue diamonds/rinestones. Good luck.

I like number four, the white one. I think since you wedding is blue, you could stand out in white. You could add a cloak over it afterwards, it would be a nice touch for the reception

I like the first one and the design you did the best. I would suggest that you go with a white dress though. I think you will regret it later on down the line if you don't

I like the first link and the last link the best. The dress on the right in the third link would be georgeous in white with the trimmings. If I had to choose between the right, it would have to be the third link, dress on the right.
Good luck!!

ooh..They are all pretty but i like the 4th one the best...i like how it is medieval but yet it still looks like a wedding dress...also i think that you should have a white dress since white does represent purity on one's wedding day but also you would stand out from the others...if you want to add some blue to coordinate with your fiancee you could add some blue detailing to the dress.
