1. See if you can get him to buy you a new car.
2. You give the car to me.
3. Then I'll beat the sh*t out of him...
4. And finally, you can have sex with me.
There are no losers in this scenario!!!

Well, if you truly believe that he's doing all this to impress you and get closer to you, you'll only making things more difficult for yourself and him as time goes by. It's never going to "go away" and the longer it is, the more confused you might be about it.
Sit down, relax, and in a very objective way think about whether you are willing to accept whatever "obligations" might arise out of his being helpful to you.
If everytime you naturally connect him to a sexual desire or thought, do yourself a favor and "pleasure yourself" first so that those thoughts don't come in your way when you evaluate what you need to do.
And if you decide this isn't the right thing for you in the long run, just be honest about it with yourself and with him. As an adult he should be able to appreciate your space and distance and be willing to let you go. If that doesn't happen, you know you have a problem at hand. Good luck :-)

Don't take any more gifts from this man, and if you must, take the bed back. By accepting these gifts, he is going to start expecting something in return.
If you tell him how you really feel, don't let him make you feel guilty if he says, "But I brought you a bed, I brought you this-that..." A red flag should definitely go up there if he should say that. He gave you those gifts- no strings attached. NEVER give in to that guilt trip!
If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't accept any more gifts, no matter how tempting it may be. He sounds obsessed, so use good judgement!

He brought you a brand new bed?
This guy seems pretty imbalanced to me - and, oh, by the way, as your maintenance man, he has a key to your apartment. I don't mean to scare you, but you should check whether he has a criminal background, and always keep your door chained when you're in your apartment.
Seriously, this is not normal behavior. If you're making this up, it's not funny; if you aren't making this up, it's even LESS funny.

Well, why are you accepting gifts from him??? A bed?? That says alot.
You sound like a user. You really ought to be ashamed of yourself.
Furthermore, you're putting yourself in a very dangerous, and comprimising position.
He's the friggin' Maintenance Man....he can enter your apartment whenever he likes. Is it legal without your consent? No, but when you've been murdered in that bed he bought you will it matter?
You need to let him know that this has to end. Or else, you'll find yourself in a world of trouble.

I don't know what kind of men you attract but it doesn't sound like you're too bright. Why would you accept these gifts from anyone unles it was from someone you know and trust. Don't be easy girl. If it has bothered you so much you should have contacted your property manager about him being bothersome.

Make something up to him like, "I like being single and I am just not ready to be in a relationship with anyone right now." Give him the whole its not you its me speech. And for God's sake quit accepting gifts from him. This will only make you feel obligated to him.

Just tell him the truth. Don't take these things from him. You should tell him that you can't be bought. Unless you can then just enjoy the gifts and give him sex. You have to decide what to do here. If I were you I'd be honest. Also he could be psycho, be careful.

You don't have to come out and tell him you're not attracted to him unless he straight out asks you out. Just be aware of your actions towards him. If you're flirting, stop. But if he's going out of his way to make your stay more comfortable without any sexual signs from you than that's his mistake.
