That's with anything containing sugar in it. There is a certain amount of allowance for insect parts in sugar and most other foods. They can't be removed 100% of the time.

Then that must of been one tasty insect leg because i've eaten a lot of m &m's in my time. THe reason i don't eat it anymore is because of the trans fat (partially hydrogenated oils). That stuff can clog your arteries, and you can get a heart attack or heart disease. THAT's why you shouldn't eat m & m's.

How bout when you eat your ham or bacon, do you really want to know what the pig had for lunch ?
How bout your cheeseburger from McDonald or anywhere else, did you know it's got less meat than any other ingredient (fat, limbs, veins, crushed bones, blood, ..)
How bout the dear hotdog and sausages... all bood and fat and spices...

So I think I'll stick to M&Ms for while, bring on the lil bugs.

Everything we eat has bugs etc in it. It cant be helped. Even flour has eggs in it and if air gets to flower, you get those little bugs everywhere. I should know, I bought a brand new bag of flour for Christmas cookies and the bugs were in the unopened bag. I thru the bag away immediately but Now they're everywhere in my house. disgusting.

From what I remember it's a secretion from the insect that makes the shell shine. That's nothing compared to what's in a typical hamburger.

Urban legend. If that was true than they would have to disclose that on the ingredients of the product. But it is totally possible that it could include little parts of bugs when the ingredients are being mixed in such a large manufacturing company.

You'd be surprised how many foods have that kind of stuff in it! They are allowed to have a certain amount of foreign material in food, like peanut butter!
