Have a regular time to study. Find a quiet place away from noise, and other distractions, but with a good light source. Make sure you have plenty of time and a comfortable chair and a desk, or table you can place your study material and use for writing. Hove plenty of pencils with good erasers sharpened and at hand. Paper, and all the things you think you'll need at hand tool. Have a clock, or watch on the table, or desk where you can see it. Study 15 minutes and take a break of 15 minutes. Scan through your material and get a rough idea what it's about. Read through and highlight important ideas. If you can do this in class and you don't have to turn the book in at the end of the term. Make sure you take notes in class. If you are able sit where you have a good view of the "chalk"board(whatever the teacher writes on up front). Pay attention to what the teacher stresses. That will likely be on tests. When you take a test read through first and answer the questions you know first and then go through again. The easier questions will maybe jog your memory.Above all get plenty of rest before a test. Don't stay up to late and start early in the evening. Give yourself plenty of time to study.

- attend all classes
- pay attention in class
- review the day's work whether you have assignments or not.
- review at the end of the week
- review at the end of the month and then
- review at the semester end.

Practice on any material you can put your hands on...
