Too many factors unexplained here to answer! Ages, family structure, other sibs, parent-preferences? Etc. You sound as if you might be the younger & looking up to her? Give it up! Go find good friends of your own outside the home--ones who appreciate and value you and your friendship!! Life is too short to fight a losing game!
