Hello Heidi,

For most people, there is little danger in household molds and mildew.

However, for those with compromised immune systems, allergies, and some very young children, it can be very bad, even in severe cases, fatal, although that IS rare.

The most common reactions are respiratory, with all the signs of allergies. Upper respiratory tract infections, fevers, headaches are common.

On top of health problems, moisture must be present for the formation of mold and mildew, so often there are home defects, such as concealed leaks, that are at the bottom of the problem, and must be remediated to solve the problem.

Mold and Mildew are evident in all households, it becomes dangerous when allowed to continue unhampered, thus compromising the health of the residents of the home it invades.

They can sause breathing difficulties, especially if you already have a breathing problem or something like it.
