He loved me for a year the found a girlfriend. We didn't go out cuz of the long distance factor. He found a girlfriend the same distance away from him. He says he still loves me with all his heart. Should I believe him or not? Why? Why not?

Don't. What is love after all? Do you think he "loved you just because he said it? Ok. Let me tell you what... I love you!
Love is not what you say, but what you show, but be careful, real love has nothing to do (at first) with sex, but with respect, loyalty, appreciation, holding the other person in high regard, striving to make the person you love happy. That, my dear, is love.
He used to like you... Well, I'll give you that, but he didn't love you. Do you hurt the person you love? No. Besides. There are a lot of selfish people (I may be included) who would say "I love you" just to get what they want, where "love" becomes just the bait.
There are a lot of great kids around that really deserve you, but only one is suposed to get your love.
Be wise.
God Bless you.

No you shouldn't believe him? He has moved on and is telling the girl he is with now that he loves her. He probably has someone locally too that he loves. Being away from someone is hard enough, but guys make take advantage of the fact that they only see there girlfriend once and awhile. Not all, but most will cheat because they don't think it will ever become an issue. That is until that tramp shows up at the house during one of your visits! Let him go, get someone who is close to you and fall in and probably out of love with. He doesnt sound like he is worth a damn. Think about it, if he loved you would he have someone else???

He probably does love you. Being in love and loving someone are two different things. There must be other reasons why he chooses not to try and make the distance thing work. I think that you are best to find someone closer to you. He sounds like someone you can call as a friend and have a deep relationship with, but nothing more.

The answer is No. He has a girlfriend the same distance as you and he still says he loves you. He's having his cake and eating it too. Sounds way too convenient for him. If he really loves you, he'll want only you, not another girlfriend.

So please don't believe him and keep telling yourself that. You'll get hurt even more if you continue this with him. Take care of yourself now.
