Muscle weighs more than fat. You will actually wiegh more with muscle in your body than you do with fat. So if you are toning your body you can expect to weigh more, but it isn't because you are actually gaining weight. kind of like when you freeze a cup of water, it weighs more as a solid. Same with fat and muscle.

Muscle is heavier than fat. It is true. A scale is not always the best way to show fitness. Rather how do you feel and how do you look. If you really want to lose weight use low weight and high repetitions and increase aerobic activity. At first your body may not cooperate, but give it time.

You could be gaining muscle weight or you could be eating more because you are hungrier.
You need to eat the proper foods to benefit the exercising. Stay away from the white bread, fried foods, pasta, pizza etc. Eat lots of fruit, vegetables and protein.

Depending on how long you've been doing, muscle does weigh more than fat. The good news is muscle burns calories even while you sleep, so it's good stuff!
One way to check is how your clothes fit. If the sleeves of your shirt are tighter, and your pants are looser, you rock!

It is not possible to "turn fat into muscle" but you are burning fat and building muscle mass. It is true that muscle weighs more than fat. Keep at it!
