could be your pillow. do you wash it? is it hypoallergenic?
could be your hair products. do you have hair that can touch your face while you are sleeping? pull it off your face into a braid before bed.
could be your detergent.

Washing your pillow case enough can help cut down on acne, but sometimes you might need to wash your face more or use a good acne medication. It could be something in your body as well. Some people's bodies are just more prone to acne than others.

A clean pillow case is good but your pillow case does not cause acne.Your detergent may aggravate your acne or your pillow case but neither one causes acne. If you need some answers about acne go to www.acne.org.

Many people have trouble with acne due to allergens and pillows can have that effect. My husband is an asthmatic and requires a certain kind of pillow that resists allergens. I would suggest getting one of these pillows (you will see them when you pillow shop) and also consider using a different detergent. Melaleuka has one that cuts down on allergens naturally, there are no pesticides or cancer causing agents / chemicals in their detergent. Check the link below for Mela-Power.

Yes your pillow can cause acne after all the bacteria, hair oils, dust, sweat, dead skin cells, and dust mites on it, no wonder some people never get rid of acne! You should wash your pillow cases at the very least once a week, I try to do them twice a week when I have extra time.

Well I thought about that too, it can cuase acne but if thats the main thing thats causing it you might wanna get a new kind of fabric for you pillow, cotton might aggrivete your skin more so try a silk pillow case.

try going to walmart, or anywhere for that matter, and buy 3 or four more pillow cases. change it every night if you think that is a contributing factor. and of course, i am sure you already do, wash your face every night right b4 bed.!! good luck.

oh, i had bad acne and i found at skinstore.com . Jan Marini Bioglycolic face wash. works miracles. $20 a bottle, but it lasts about 2 months, so it's no more expensive than store stuff.

Well, talk to a doctor but, try buying a new pillow along with a brand new pillow case because, it could just the cotton or whatever the pillow is stuffed with. If that doesn't work try not using a pillow and laying on a blanket or something.
Good luck

yes bacteria is what causes acne. Make sure you pillow is clean and alternate pillow cases once in a while.

If you wash it that often, and you wash your face before bed, it's probably not that as the root cause. If you use an abrasive pad or scrub you could be scrubbing too hard and that opens microtears that get infected. Also, people who use the reusable pads need to know that they grow bacteria and fungi because they stay wet, and multiply acne problems.
