I will get slammed for this,That is O.K. I will testify and have done so in public.Jesus came to me personally, when I was in prayer begging him, Jesus be with me.He placed a firm hand on my shoulder,I knew it was Jesus. { Angels have come to me many times } I felt terror at His power,
It was overwhelming.Very hard to put into words.
I felt comfort at the same time,He did perform a instant miracle.I felt all at the same time, electricity, chills, heat, some feelings,no word for.So the fear is in the power.I will be happy to endure that type of fear again,It was Jesus and It was a miracle.
Why me,I have no idea,I am not special,I am a lowly housewife from Massachusetts.I fear God and I love God.

I don't fear that God would do anything to me, because no matter what He has always shown me love, but I do fear not measuring up to His expectations of me. What I love about Him, everything. I love His Word, His way, the amazing example of unconditional love that he faithfully maintains for us and that He gave His precious son to save us. He is awesome!

I fear disappointing God because he wants what is best for me, and if I go against his will this is detrimental. If I don't obey God I will be unhappy and miss out on the chance to live eternally on earth when God restores Paradise. My death will be my end.
I love so much about God- his name, Jehovah, means "he causes to become". He causes himself to become the rewarder of those earnestly seeking him, he becomes our Friend, comforter, Father, and is alternately the One who will bring about the destruction of the wicked, which will allow the earth to have peace. He is perfectly loving, just, powerful, and wise. I love that as soon as Adam and Eve sinned, he immediately put a plan into action to allow mankind to see what life without his rule was like, and prophesied that a seed, Jesus, would get rid of Satan and his seed one day. (Gen. 3:15) I love that God teaches us the secret to happiness (giving), how to benefit ourselves, and about the origins of the universe. When I apply his counsel, I am better for it, my family life and friendships improve. :) I love that there he teaches us about his personality through his creation and through the bible.

Matthew 10:27-28 "Whatever I tell you in the dark, [That is in private, in secret, in the instructions I give you where others are not listening in...] speak in the light; [That is openly...] and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell [or in gehenna].
It is not unreasonable that we should fear God. This is Jesus Christ uttering this and He says that we are to fear Him who is able to destroy both body and soul in hell. The reason is because He is the only one who can revoke the judgment of gehenna fire. The wages of sin are death—in gehenna fire. And, if we are going to escape this punishment, then we can see that it is very closely tied-in to whether or not we actually fear God.

I think that fear of God means to respect and acknowledge God's existance and authority. I don't think that there isn't anything to fear as long as you trust in Jesus Christ and accept him. There are many things to love about God, his salvation he offers, guidance, wisdom, etc.

I fear disappointing Him and having to see His reaction come judgment day, I can't loose my salvation, but imagine seeing disappointment in the eyes of the one that gave His sinless life for you.
I love the fact that although He is big and mighty He still has an interest in my day to day life and wants to see me do all things the way they are best for me
