You need to listen carefully to a native speaker and imitate them as closely as you can. Ask them to point out anything odd in your pronunciation. There are likely to be two problem areas, the pronunciation of individual sounds, like making an aspiration after P, T and K sounds, and also general sentence intonation patterns. It takes a lot of practice! - and you will probably never be perfect.

Sometimes it's helpful to listen to the way English-speakers sound when talking in Vietnamese - that way you can notice the points of difference between the two languages.

Also look out for any book on phonetics, as native speakers cannot usually explain exactly how they make the sounds in their mouths!

Good luck!

I strongly recommend you this book: "American Accent Training" from Ann Cook. It helped me a lot.

I also recommend the book "Slangman guide to street speak" from David Burke.

+ try to watch American TV if you can
