Have you, or do you know someone who got married and right before getting married were in a huge fight and then magically everything came together at the end? Or has someone ran into the church (or wherever) breaking up the ceremony to tell either the bride or groom they were in love with them? Or is this just all the stuff of movies?

I know someone who right before she got married a bunch of people told her it was a big mistake. This guy was a creep and everyone could see it but her. She didn't listen and now she just had a baby with him. He makes her sleep in another room every night with the baby because he doesn't want to be bothered. He also tells her that if she doesn't start losing all that baby weight, he's going to replace her. That just goes to show you, some times the people closest to you know your boyfriend/husband better than you do.

Never witness that but one wedding I was in one of the bridesmaids who was the groom sister ran out of the church screaming and crying at the rehearsal because her fiance was checking out all the bridesmaid's butts and commenting them to the ushers. They got married the next year but they were more like Jerry Springer type of people then "movie true love".

It was kinda funny cause the bride was afraid she would do it at the wedding..... but she behaved... and then later got drunk and put all these test tube shots in the front of her dress and was asking guys if they wanted one at the reception!!

I haven't witnessed this stuff. But the last wedding I was at the Best Man fainted.... It was kinda funny....
The preacher is going on with the vows and you are just looking at the bride and groom like wow they look great and then you hear the preacher ask if anyone has smelling salts...

It's not all in the movies. My in-laws haven't been too fond of me. While discussing things with the church wedding cordinator, my minister and my mom, my FIL got upset that things we're going fast enough and he "had other things to do" (which wasn't true). He got in my mom's face and, long story short, stormed out of the church with my MIL and BIL in tow.

BIL started calling the church non-stop telling me how the wedding was "tearing the family apart". FIL threatened not to come to the wedding. My husband was upset. Everyone was crying.

Finally my husband told everyone that he didn't care what his parents did, that he finally discovered that his parents don't love him, and that regardless of whether or not they showed up the next day we were going to get married. He also told his brother that if his father did show up and made a scene, my husband would personally stop the wedding and throw is dad out.

Two of our ushers were late to the rehersal due to traffic (we knew they were going to be late) and when they walked in they saw everyone crying. They were bewildered, not knowing what had just happend. They started apologizing for being late, thinking that we were upset with them.

My husbands parents did come to the wedding, and did behave themselves. My FIL didn't say one word to me the whole day. They left the reception early to take my BIL to the airport so he could leave for college.

On our wedding video my FIL was asked if he was losing a son or gaining a daughter. His response was "Depends on who you ask."

Lots of other things happened too. I could make a movie out of it.

A few months ago, a piece in the newspaper was about a groom being gunned down in front of a nightclub. It was the night before his wedding. I felt so bad for that bride.

On my rehearsal night, my husband didn't help as much as I needed. I started crying right there in the middle of the rehearsal (in front of my parents, his parents, friends, everyone) and my best friend pulled me outside to the restroom. She said "we can leave right now if you want." My husband came out and tried to calm her down and he was on the cell. She yelled "get off of the phone right now and talk to your wife or we're leaving right now." He hung up, we all talked and everything went on as planned. It was horrible, but funny now that I think about it.

I know someone who, the night before their wedding, had their car stolen.

In the car was EVERYTHING they needed for the wedding and honeymoon. Passports, tickets, wedding attire, clothes for the honeymoon, rings, wedding certificate, EVERYTHING.

They pulled it off though. And had a beautiful wedding.

Their car was recovered. NOTHING in it.

The preacher at my uncle's wedding said "awfully wedded wife" instead of "lawfully wedded wife" and the unity candle caught the entire church on fire. It isn't just in the movies.

I've never heard of any of those stories in reality, but wouldn't "weddings gone bad" make a good reality show?
