Yes, I told this last week. I was in an auto accident and had to have emergency surgery. Waking up I was in ICU with machines hooked up and tube down my throat unable to talk. My breasts were engorged with milk because I was nursing my 5 month old daughter at the time and I had missed several feedings. In the middle of the night I woke up and a nurse said that she noticed that I was engorged and said that she would go find a pump in pediatrics and try to help me. I kept dozing off and she came back and proceeded to work on me for hours while I kept going in and out of consciousness. About 24 hours later they removed the tube out of my throat and the first thing I wanted to know was the name of that nurse so I could thank her because she had taken care of pain that was worse than all my injuries.
The doctors and the nurses didn't know who I was talking about and the description of her that I gave them didn't fit anyone who had been on shift that night. They told me that none of the nurses in pediatrics was aware of anyone borrowing a manual breast pump either. I don't know if she was a real person or an angel, but nobody knew that I had been nursing either and were unaware of the misery I was in. Only God Knew, and He sent someone to help me. She was an angel to me.

Ok. (warning this is long) When I was traveling with a Christian Drama Company, we traveled in vans. Before we left LA our timeing chain broke and we had to get it fixed before leaving LA. By the time we left, all the other units had already gone out on the road and we drove cross country alone. In Indianapolis we came across another unit and stopped and talked to them. They pulled out of the gas station one way and we went the other....In the middle of the road we realized we'd heard a story while we were still in LA about this unit having had tire problems so one of the men on the unit got out and checked our tires....one of the back tires had lost 2 lug nuts. We proceeded on towards where we thought we could find a repair shop. As we were crossing an overpass we heard the 3rd lug nut go. We pulled over and stopped. The unit leader and I headed back to a gas station we had passed while the guys stayed with the van. We called someone we knew in the area and she gave us the name of a local pastor that might be able to help. About that time one of the guys came in and told us that there was a man that would help us fix it if we bought the parts. We went with him (in his vehicle) to the parts store where we got lugnuts. We had exactly the right amount of money. However when we got back to the van, they were the ones for the front tires not the back. By then the parts store was closed. We went back to the gas station and called the pastor. He let us stay with him and took us back to the parts store in the morning to get the right parts. This fellow actually came back in the morning to make sure we got them on. We got his name and address before leaving and when we got to Cincinati we sent him a thank you card. It came back marked no such address....either he on purpose gave us the wrong address, he gave us the wrong address by accident or there really was no such address.
