I think its horrible you were put on a liquid diet without recommendations or instructions on what to eat. Any meal can be made liquid if you have a good blender or food processor. All you need to do is add the food and some sort of liquid before pulsing it down, such as chicken broth, milk, water, etc. Good luck. Until you can figure it out I'd recommend high nutrient/vitamin shakes likes the ones put out by Ensure and Slim Fast.

I personally think most foods, although they can be blended into a shake - probably shouldn't be. I'm sorry, but I'd rather not eat if my only choice was Taco Shake, or Shrimp Smoothie.
That being said. There are a lot of things you can eat, smoothies, puddings, thin soups, jellos. The one thing I would recommend, is talking to your Dr. and see if they will let you add a protein supplement to the liquid diet - just to make sure you're getting enough. You can either pick one up from the local grocery store - I personally like the Soy based ones - or go to local gym. They always have stuff there for body builders.
Good luck - I hope you aren't on the diet for too long.

Liquid diets: over-the-counter types such as SlimFast and medically-supervised types like Optifast, Ensure,
40-30-30 BALANCE® Drink Mix is a great tasting meal replacement drink mix that provides complete nutrition. It is based on the 40-30-30 nutritional philosophy — a diet high in protein with moderate carbs.

You can liquefy any thing in a blender. Somethings are better than others. Stews and soups retain their flavors best. There are also several liquid dietary supplements such as Ensure that will provide all of your nutritional needs and they come in flavors. Good Luck. I feel for you.

Here's an easy way to make a smoothie. Mix soy milk and frozen berries (any kind you like) in a blender. Using frozen fruit makes it thicker without needing ice cubes.
For one serving, use 1 cup of berries and 1 cup of soy milk.

I would experiment with highly nutritious smoothies. See what fruits, dairy and protein powders agree with your gut. Get a good quality thermous and blender and search the web for recipes. I always get a feeling of well being when I make one of these and guzzle it down, Yumm

I would do a rice milk and banana smoothie, perhaps with strawberries, or any good broth, freshly made carrot, spinach and apple juice, potato peal broth, any simmered veggie broth, put beets and apple in blender with water, RW Knudson cherry juice is good too

Can you have pureed soups?
Make a healthy vegetable soup then puree it in a blender. You can buy squash, carrot, asparagus e.g. Campbell's Gardennay.
They are all good. Add protein shakes, Ensure or Boost for protein.

All fruits are fresh vegetables. A "vegetable" is a plant, any part of which is employed for food.

I have a TON for you.
Yogurt
Pudding
Jello
Applesauce (liquid added and osterized for stricter regimens)
Cream soups (blended in osterizer if chunks are to be avoided)
Tomato soup
Ice Cream (microwave on high 20 seconds to soften)
Sherbet
Slurpees
Recipes:
1. Graham cracker surprise
Graham crackers, broken or mashed
Applesauce
Apple juice
Mix all ingredients together into a mush-like consistency.
This recipe seems to be a favorite among toddlers.
2. Fruit Smoothie
banana
3-4 fresh strawberries
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup orange juice
2 teaspoons sugar (optional)
3 ice cubes
Blend in osterizer until ice cubes are gone. Drink immediately.
3. Melon Shake
1/4 cantaloupe, cut in chunks
1/2 cup yogurt

Blend in osterizer until ice cubes are gone.
4. Strawberry cheesecake shake
4-5 ripe fresh strawberries (or frozen berries)
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup cream cheese
2 teaspoons sugar (optional)
4-5 ice cubes (fewer for thinner consistency)
Blend in osterizer until ice cubes are gone.
5. Milk shake
1/2 cup ice cream
1/2 cup milk
Flavoring as desired (chocolate syrup; fresh fruit; strawberry jam; etc)
Blend in osterizer. Add more milk for thinner shake.
6. Chocolate cereal
1 serving malt-o-meal cereal, cooked as directed
1/4 cup chocolate chips
sprinkling sugar (optional)

Cook malt-o-meal. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top while still hot. After a minute or so, stir in the melted chocolate chips. Sprinkle top lightly with sugar and add milk.
7. Hot corn cereal

Blend in osterizer until totally blended. Pour into microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high about 1 minute. Add milk to thin if desired. Good, hearty taste, nice consistency.
8. Spaghetti Frappe
1/2 cup cooked spaghetti
1/2 cup spaghetti sauce

Small amounts each:

10. "ABC" Cheese Enchilada
1 corn tortilla, broken into chunks
Cheddar cheese, cut into chunks
1 or 2 pieces sliced jalapeno pepper (optional)
very small amounts each:
