How am I supposed to feel about this?

I have low self-esteem(I'm not good looking) but I'm really working on improving it,I'm just wondering How am I supposed to feel about it when I'm talking to someone but he/she doesn't look me at me(because of my looks)?or when people say bad things about me?

Those people are jerks. Mentally tell yourself that they aren't worth your time when you run into people like this - because they aren't.

I am glad to hear you are working on your self-esteem..that is so important. You sound like a good person and you should never forget that a worthy person is going to think your incredible because of your character.

Yes...we live in a world where it is easier to be attractive; I won't lie. Still, I bet you will get a zillion responses from girls who aren't attracted to cocky or gorgeous...many girls want a stable intelligent guy who will make them laugh.

Two things anyone can work on:
Work out - it will make you look buff and strong, and it will make you feel like a winner! It will help you with the esteem issue.

The other thing...without getting too graphic...don't underestimate the importance of being a terrific lover. The more you know about women psychologically and biologically, the better you will be at attracting them.

Have confidence, walk straight with your head up high; learn to look everyone in the eye (it is a skill to master) and you may not be the best stereotypically good looking guy in the room, but I guarantee you could be one of the sexiest.

Beauty is only skin deep. Where u lack in looks u make up for in other places. But u have to feel good about u before anyone else can. If that see u have a low self esteem that will always knock u down. What ever ur assets r use that to ur advantage. I for one would rather have a man with a beautiful personality and not that attractive than a man whose handsome and very shallow. Stop thinking so low b/c u r not attractive as u say. But someone out there may find u attractive but u have to find that within urslf 1st.

Don't let it get to you. It shouldn't matter what others think of you. Just keep looking cause there will be one person who thinks your the cutest and sweetest guy in the world. So just ignore people who are rude and plus the only reason they don't look at you or say bad things is because their jealous of what you've got.

I remember having this plm just like you and i started to know that I don't care what others say, do, feel, or talk behind my back or anything I don't careeeee. Guess what, There more people out there would be your friend Just like me I can be your friend why, Because you are cool and I would like to know who you are not you try to be like someone you know what I mean?

I remember try to be like someone and gosh it didn't even work and Finally try to be who i am and everyone right now loves me and think I am very funny guy and wow, still now days people still remember my good old funny guy. but you know don't let anyone bugging or make you feel liek that... just be who you are and hell what others said or do. smilng.

Just remember to believe in yourself if others can't except you for you...then they arn't good enough for you because, that means there not open minded. They will hurt you in the end anyways. Everybody will hurt you sometime in a life time you just have to chose who is worth the pain...As in decide who you'd go to the end of the earth for! I hope things work out for you hun

your supposed to ignore it. i know it can be tough... but you are working on it so good on you!! seriously when you can get your confidence up that is half the battle. a lot of the time if you can show your winning personality no one will care about your looks.
