I like a girl at work... and I think that she likes me to. She's 18 and I'm 17, shes 3 months older than me...
Anyway I want to ask her out but loads oi people at work keep messing about saying that I'm chattin her up...I would like to, but I don't do it all the time. Im worried that if I ask her out it would just confirm everyones suspicisons, even if they are true.

Should I really care what they think?

think about it this way... if you pay attention to what people around you are saying you might miss out on the best thing in the world... her... the reason that the people at work are giving you a hard time is probably because they want you to do something about it and ask her out already... lol! be brave and just do it...

Have a great day!

Don't take others opinions that you don't personally like. Try it, ask her, but a relationship with somebody at work can be bad. Just think if you broke up or the date went sour. You would have to work with her later. I would suggest only being friends, maybe hang out once in a while.

if you are only working there temporarily, then GO for it! Be a man.

Cuz you'll be leaving the work place(not like u need the job for your life *if*) and you dont have to answer your personal life to anybody there.

but if u plan to stay on the job for long, then workplace romance shld be avoided. u'll have to deal with loads of shits, rumors, handling ur rls with her in the workplace Long-Term.

Well, since your young, I'm assuming this job is probably just a highschool job, and then I don't think it's too bad to date someone from work. But If you like the job, I wouldn't recommend it, too much politics involved if you break up.

Most times office romance doesn't last/work....no problem asking her to lunch sometime and become friends...but working with someone and having a romantic relationship will get in the way*

Don't mix business with pleasure. As you can tell from your coworkers ribbing you, it is already detracting from your credibility. If things don't work out between you and the girl, work will be very uncomfortable for you.

Don't care what they think. People try to embarrass people about liking someone usually because they're jealous.

if you like her you should ask her out, because no one is single for ever. don't care what everyone else says, just do what you think is best.

nope

its really just what you think about it that matters mostly

whatever we do in life or don't do, we have to live with ourselves, its much easier when you know exactly what you are doing and why

ask yourself first, will this help me sleep at night or mess with my sleep

like which one more?
