Move to different state she had a baby,it was just crazy.

Take small steps don't rush in and try to be a parent because you really aren't yet. Don't trash the parent that raised them. Don't give meaningless reasons why you were not there for them. Be a friend and tell him what a good job the custodial parent has been towards him. Don't try to take over their lives and remember take it slow.

Those many years one must keep contact almost on a daily basis in getting to know your son better and who moved to a different state and had a baby? Seems like you are talking 2 different things here. If the son moved to a different state then go visit them or make phone calls to keep in contact.

If I were you, I would befriend my son and start from there ,to have a good father and son relationship.
