What is the name of the bump on the back of most people's head?

Most people have a bony bump in the middle of the back of their head. When learning CPR they tell you to tip the person's head back so it rests on that bump. Try being strapped down on that bump for 6 hours after a car accident!! OUCH!! What is it's name?

The little point on the back of the skull is called the inion or the external occipital protuberance.
