No. For two reasons, one of which is the state of aviation technology in the early 21st Century, and the other is mission.
The F14 was originally designed to intercept Soviet bombers attacking carrier battle groups. The mission required a large acquisition and fire-control radar. This led to the need for a second crew-member, and a large stores capacity. These requirements drove the size of the aircraft, as one still needed the speed, acceleration (and loiter time-so large fuel capacity for CAP). The need to somehow reconcile these missions with a slow approach/landing speed for carrier ops, led to a variable-geometry solution. This solution itself, was another size compromise, to put the machinery in the jet.
This mission has pretty much gone by the wayside- though intercepting cruise missiles is still around. However, thanks to late 21st century aviation tech, the F18 Super Hornet has the 'trons to handle this mission. Also, as another responder mentioned, with composites and better computer aided-design techniques, variable geometry is redundant.
FWIW, I agree that for future CAP-type missions, a UCAV with Advanced AMRAAM is probably going to be the solution.

Variable Geometry...no. with composits and directional thrust there really isn't a need for a variable geometry aircraft any more. F18 Super Hornet and the Joint Strike Fighter(JSF) will fill the gap left by the F14. The bigger question is will UAVs replace the JSF, F18SH and F22?

F-18 Super Hornet. Know some guys in the Navy. They said this thing is awesome compared to the older Hornets and Tomcats.

The F-14 had its final carrier landing/take-off in the summer of 2004. It was off of the deck of the USS Ronald Reagan CVN-76. The F-14 has since been all but replaced by the F/A-18. It is much quicker, much more maneuverable, and much smaller, resulting in more aircraft being able to deploy with any carrier at any one time.
