I made veal parm for dinner last night and then covered the rest with foil. But then I forgot to put in the refrigerator. I put it in this morning when I woke up but I'm not sure if its ok to eat. There's a lot left and I would hate to throw it out but I don't want to get sick either. ?????

I know what you mean, I hate waisting food. It's probably okay and you won't get sick. But I would lean towards the side of caution... and toss it. I'd hate to give my family any food that I wasn't positive was safe. I might try it myself, but I wouldn't give it to anyone unless or untill till I knew for sure it was okay.

I think you'll be ok. It was covered and everything. I dated a man from another country for a few years, and he hardly ever put things in the frig, and we never got sick or anything. I am not sure why and I am sure that many people will say that you shouldn't, but we literally left out anything and everything....cheeses, meats, etc and were fine.

No, it is not safe to eat. Anything left out over four hours in the tempeture danger zone 41- 140 degrees is not safe to eat even after heating it above 140 degrees.

If it sat out at room temperature all night -toss it. It will be cheaper in the long run than the doctor bills for a severe case of food poisioning.

How warm was your house? If it was at least cool, there should not be any problems. If the dish was 'warm', I would not chance it.
