No.
If it is, I'm glad I'm going to hell. I'd rather die with my morality than live by immoral structures.
It truly does tickle me that people can think that a religious text, with no proof towards its authenticity, saying this makes it moral. There have been many religions, both before and after Christianity that have claimed this.
I honestly don't see how a person with a heart could follow such structures, perhaps this explains more than we know.

In Christianity, the Doctrine of Original Sin is the reason that there is a need for salvation through Jesus' crucifixion. However, this doctrine was invented by Paul and it is strongly negated in the Old Testament (see Ezekial 18:20, Jeremiah 31:30, Deut. 24:16). This doctrine is an attempt to escape the responsibility of righteousness with the belief that punishment is given to someone else to release us from our burden of sins (see Ephesians 1:7, Romans 4:25, 10:9, Corinthians 15:21) In the Qur'an, every soul is responsible for its own deeds, good or bad (see 74:38,41:46, 3:25, 6:154).

Dear Gorgeoust:
"The Christ takes many forms with different names until their . . .[singular] teachings are recognized. Jesus is for you the bearer of Christ's single message of the Love of God. " Again, is he the only Teacher? "All beliefs that lead to progress should be honored."
Every great teacher was originally taught by the Holy Spirit. Through their human personalities they express the Universal Truths differrently. The Holy Spirit had a plan for what Buddha, Socrates, Plato and Jesus would teach. As each man's soul absorbed those lessons or thoughts, the next great teacher emerged to teach another aspect of Divine Truth.
Jesus made the Creator personal. At last, that was the final message to be given : The intimacy of mind when joined to the Father. "Abba, " he said. God is intimate and personal.
Given the "fear" of God as expressed in the Old Testament - that God is Taboo and not to be looked upon (the original meaning of the word taboo was 'holy' ) the Holy Spirit took us a great distance with the message Jesus bore.
Best regards, Lana

God's Word tells us the only way to the Father is through the Son... Jesus Christ. Jesus is the "Tree of Life" which is in the center of the Garden. If you don't go through Him, you will NOT enter heaven.
ECUSA Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori, must not believe in the God of Creation, if she feels there is a limitation to God by putting Him in a small box. She should not be a "bishop". She will have to answer for this comment... for she will be judged harshly compared to the followers of church.

Other than practice faith, you must have a compassionate heart too. ALL Humans are not perfect. Every being that is born in this world has to go through suffering. We ALL sin.
When a person pass away, the soul has to go
through purgatory, DEFINITELY. There , you will be judged for every sin which you've committed , small or big, it will not escape the eyes of the person who Judges.

There are three ways. One is Jesus. You accept him as your personal savior, and you can use the "diamond" (high occupancy vehicle) lanes because you're carpooling with billions of other Christians. You have to take the 101 through Northern California, and Heaven is a suburb of San Francsico. There's a secret knock.
You can also take public transportation, but that's slow and no one does it.
Also, you can walk. That's what Jesus did, but he had really good sandals.

You got it completely wrong. You can not imaging how complex and awesome big is my God. How big is the earth against our God. Well He call it His footstool. He made you and look at how complex did He make you even so that we do not even know everything from the human body and its working there is everyday something new. God do not change He is constant and true and honest in all He is. Don not try to put Him in a box if that is where you are living

I could not disagree more. Such a person calls Christ a liar. See John 14:6. How then can they claim His name?
..yeah they who practice the Christian tradition. There's your fruit marked plainly. Tradition. Christianity is not a religious tradition it is reality.
Let them "practice their religious tradition" and see what it gets them. I'd rather be a Hindu or a Muslim or a person of some other religion than a person who "practices the Christian tradition".
Beware the leaven of the pharisees.
Matt 15:6 and Mark 7:13
as for getting to heaven everyone gets to heaven for judgement but who will be rewarded with eternal life?
there is a gulf in heaven between those who overcome and those who do not.

God could have done it another way.. but if He came in the flesh of man to die in our place and HAD put into place other ways then the death on the cross and resurrection means nothing. If God doesnt care, as long as you're " a good person" then why bother with the whole Jesus thing? Is God redundant or was Jesus just for dramatic effect?

I'm sure there was a guy named Jesus but I dont think he is god. God is a higher power and everyone sees god differently. He is energy and when we die we become energy also. I think having faith and spirituality will bring us all to a better place. Some people say believe in him or you go to hell but I think that is close minded and those people are usually part of a religion (which I think is just brain washing). I can still go to heaven just knowing there is life after death and a better place hopefully.

How about Jonah Salk, a Jew, who saved millions of lives with his polio vaccine-is he not in heaven because he was a Jew?
A Christian Nazi slaughters an innocent Jew. After WWII, the Nazi devotes his life to Jesus. Who is in heaven, The Jew, The Nazi, Neither, or both?
