You can do it anywhere, just let them know that that is what you're wanting to do with your hair. If they don't send it from their place of buisness, you can just mail it in yourself. Visit their website and they'll tell you exactly how to do it. It's www.locksoflove.com. I did it myself a month ago, it's a wonderful organization.

Locks of love does not collect donations as a general rule from hairdressers. You can get your hair cut anywhere as long as it is clean and braided or in an elastic and at least 10 inches long and then send it to them your self. My daughter donated about 12 inches last spring. Go to thee website for details and the address to send it to. It is indeed a selfless act you are thinking about.

I donated my hair to losk of love last time I got it cut. You can do this anywhere, just have your hair dresser cut off your hair you want to donate in a rubberband, then style it after that. Most hairdressers are familiar with this procedure.

If you have a "Great Clips" there, try them. I know they are active in the Locks of Love program here.
