It's my first speech in front of this new class, I know everyone is gonna conclude with a thank you, but I want something different .. Any ideas

Make sure that whatever your attention getter was you return to it. Leave people with something startling in relation to that and then just sit down. It will make your speech much more memorable.

I always like to end with,
"Well, that's all the time I have folks. Don't forget to tip the wait staff" or "Always spay and neuter"
you can go either way, their both winners.
