A few yrs ago, I did not feel that way. I am as busy as before. But for the last few yrs it is different. It feels as if days go so quickly. Why do you think it is like that now?

OH, man, I'm 26 and with each passing year, time goes by faster and faster. I think one reason is that when you are a kid, you are ALWAYS looking forward to something (i.e. Christmas, a birthday, etc.). As we get older, we start taking things for granted, so we don't look forward to things as much as we did when we were kids. It's kind of sad, but that's life. It has its ups and downs. We must learn to love and appreciate every single day that we are on this planet because time goes by fast and life is short.

Time doesn't really exist you know. It is something that was created by man to organize things. It is a sensation of one's perception. As there is no time, except for what has been artifically created in the name of order. I know what you mean though and I don't think it has anything to do with how busy you are or even your age. I personally am awed at the way it just goes away. I mean literally, it feels like I wake up and the the next day isn't the next day, but the next year. So, yes, I feel that way!

I've noticed that as I get older time passes more quickly, I think it's a perceptual thing having to do with how long you've lived relative to whatever unit of time you are looking at.

I remember as kid, summer lasted forever and a year away was just about impossible to seriously contemplate. Now, if blink and take a deep breath, half my day is gone.

I definatley feel that way and I try to live each day to the fullest. For me this started happening about a year ago, I turned 33, and I feel as though i've wasted too much time already and now I am in a hurry to do everthing i've ever wanted to do. There's just simply not enough time.

When I was a kid, I used to complain to my grandmother that it took too long for Christmas, my birthday, vacation to come around. She gave me a piece of advice then that sounded stupid but makes total sense now. As you get older, time goes faster. The older you are, faster time flies. Cherish the time you have.

I totally get that because it just seems like it was September and we're closing in on the end of February.

It seems the older I get, the faster time goes. Makes it even more important to live life well, not missing any opportunity to let those you love know.

They say it isn't the length of your life that matters, but the width and the depth.

I have no scientific reason for the phenomena, but my mom said it would happen when I had children, and she was right as rain! Honestly, it was just last month that I brought my youngest home from the hospital, and she will be 16 in June! :)

It always happens the older you get. Remember when you were little and Christmas seemed to take FOREVER to came? Nowadays, Christmas is here before you even have time to finish your shopping. It happens

Yep! Time always passes through very quickly, unless you're idling around at home.
