I have a good friend of many years that I just discussed more than friends with her. We decided not to. She knows I like her, but I have reservations. Anyway, our feet often rub against each other in group settings, and we discuss marriage a lot. Last night we ended up discussing what makes a marriage work. She listened intently as I shared what was on my heart about it and how I am committed to the woman I marry. Why the footsie and talk of marriage? I did actually tell her recently that I am looking for the woman I will marry.

I know how messed up this sounds, but just because a woman pays attention to you, flirts with you, and listens to you does not mean she likes you. She's probably just teasing you.

She listend intently because you share some of the same marrige goals as she does. She was playing footsie because she felt comfortable around you and shes interested in what you had to say. Her knowing that you like her can also have a great impact on the way you 2 persieve each other. Especially the whole marrige part. I think with time you 2 will eventually go out and have a wonderfull marrige. Relationships take time so try not to rush into things. Just wait, be patient and with time she will see how wonderful of a person you are and that you 2 really connect spiritually and emotionaly.

From what youve said I think your just good friends.... My brother has a friend like this... They talk for hours about love, life, and whatever comes to mind, and they just seem to get each other... but even though theyre so close, they know that theres nothing more to it than just a really good friendship.

Dude, she's giving you all the "clues".....why don't you just hold her hand and ask "do you want that too? How would you like to be married to your best friend?"......stop playing footsie and start telling her how special she is to you; if it's love, I think you have it in the bag.
