I know this may be a stupid question, but ill still ask.

Im a guy and im very white. should i put in the effort to get a very very nice tan? or is it something that isnt really that important.

For me to get a tan i have to be at beach for like 3 hours every day, and it wont really appear for a few weeks so it is a major task, but will it really impact that much?

I am a pasty white red headed girl. If I go out into the sun, I'd catch on fire. My boyfriend loves me that way that I am.

Besides, I think all skin tones are beautiful. It's not what color the skin is, it's what's in your heart that matters.

It depends...some guys look good tanned and some don't.
Clean, healthy skin is hotter than sunburnt, wrinkled and damaged.

I am very white as you and I don't really tan. My skin is very sensitive and I can't be exposed to the sun or tanning machines. I learned to accept myself and feel comfortable with my pale skin.
I've heard from guys to tell me that is confidence what matters. If you feel confident with who and how you are that is what becomes attractive. Wear clothes in colors that suit your pale skin and it makes it look better.

If you still feel like you need to be tanned, perhaps go to a tanning salon and instead of the beach, you can tan there. They have different plans and rates and seems to work out for many people.

Well I have to say I don't find very white skin appealing but then again I also say that it's not at all worth it if you have to spend 3 hours a day at the beach. Why don't you just do more outdoor activities and get tanned over a longer period of time...

It depends on the person , some people suit tans others don't. Rule of thumb is as long as you look after yourself in other ways e.g. cleanliness , weight etc. you shoud look attractive without a tan. Healthy looking skin is good regardless. If your skin is red and damaged from sunburn then it isn't worth it.

go to a tanning bed. Being tan is much better than being white...you dont wanna go to the extent that you turn orange though.
