If it is really raw and the skin is completely off... (like a finger nail coming off completely) then I would first disinfect the finger by dipping it into betadine or povidone-iodine solution for several minutes.

I would then use a antibiotic ointment such as neosporin and band-aid it. But make sure you use one that will allow the wound to breathe. Don't use those cheap plastic water proof ones that keeps it air tight.

Keep an eye on it and if you feel heat and swelling spreading towards your hand and progressively getting worse... then you should see a doctor because that could be a sign of infection which would require some prescription drugs to combat the infection.

If it's just the outer layers of skin that have come off, it should heal up.
Just keep the wound clean & cover it with a thin bandage of some kind to protect it while still letting it breathe. Also use an antibiotic ointment.
This should still allow you to bowl.
Just watch for any sign of infection (redness, swelling, pus or red streaks) & see a doctor ASAP if this happens.
Good luck with your bowling.

Use Neosporin or Triple Anti-Biotic Gel. CVS makes their own brand and is a little cheaper. Cover it with a bandage. Then try using a bowling glove or a golf glove, keeping the area covered with the bandage, while you bowl. Every now and then take the bandage off and let it "breath". I would imagine that eventually you will end up with a callus there and you won't suffer anymore.

IF YOUR SKIN IS STILL BROKEN, ITS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO PUT LOTION ON IT UNLESS IT IS A STERILE BURN DRESSING. WAIT FOR THE SKIN TO CLOSE UP BEFORE BOWLING AGAIN OR PUT A BAND-AID ON AND BOWL WITH GLOVES. IF THE SKIN SURROUNDING THE AREA IS NOT BROKEN, REGULAR MOISTURIZING LOTION SHOULD DO THE TRICK

Put super glue on it. It works wonders for paper cuts too.
