This is my personal experience: I have known this girl since I was in Grade 5, by then I was 10 years old. By then, I did not have any feelings for her, and if there is, it was just a lust that lasts for a weekend. For four years I did not keep an eye on her; I did not do things for her; I was not very kind to her; I was not even a gentleman to her. And now I regret it.. Why? I have been fallin in love with her for the past half a year and I have told her my feeling but she said she just want to be friends. I reckon it is because of me being not very special to her and did not treat her in a special way for all this while.. I have been trying very hard for the past six months to be a gentleman to her.

What I am saying is that if I took FOUR years to develop a special feeling for her, why is it impossible for her to do the same to me?

It doesn't matter what you say or do, or how much time passes; you cannot make someone love you.

Cuz for 4 years you treated her with disrespect. That has a much lasting effect than her actions towards you. If you've tried for 6 months, maybe you should try longer or better yet just treat her with respect regardless of whether it wins her affections or not. Maybe she'll come around, maybe she never will and will always only want to be friends. It could've always been only a friend thing for her all along. You can't make someone love you, if it's meant to be, it will be.

Because it's a gamble that she may come around...or she may not. But the bigger issue is - are you willing to wait around on someone who may NEVER come around to loving you - and lose out on giving someone else the opportunity to get to know and possibly love you.
You are VERY, VERY young and have incredible opportunities to learn and love ahead of you. She has already told you "no". This means that you can continue to be friends with her, but wooing her is a waste of your time. She made her point clear. Will she change her mind? Maybe - but then again maybe she'll always just want you to be friends. Save your self the heartache of being frineds with her and watching her date other guys. Branch out and take a look at other girls.

I had a guy friend. We were best friends all through middle school and high school. He always wanted to be my boyfriend. I always just wanted to be friends and felt so bad that I didn't share his feelings. I never changed my mind - but he is now happily married with a little boy and a great wife. I too am happy with a great boyfriend. Sometimes all it is is a friendship.

You can't make her love you but you can certainly try. I think the best thing is to just move on and become good friends with her. Who knows she might have some hot friends ;) Trust me, it's really hard to move on but most of the time after a wome has made up their mind their is no turning back. They are pretty stuborn in that sense.

Somehow you have to tap into a way to help her overcome the hurt feeling you done to her in the past. She accepts then you get the victory.

She probably just doesn't like you, or isn't attracted to you. No matter how much time you wait, she may never have feelings for you. You've told her your feelings, and she has told you her feelings. Like or not, it is now time to accept the truth and move on.

It is possible - I have done it!
You have to try to get her to think about you in a different way.....
That is the challenge - I sent my girl a telegram at work with a romantic poem. Try sending flowers to her work - No Card - it makes them try to think who would do this.... she may call you to aask if it was you... Be creative! Romantic... Win her over - if she is worth the effort... Go for it!
