Your own bank will be happy to cash your refund check! Most banks only cash checks for their own customers.

Any FDIC bank would cash tax return checks. Most banks may only cash tax return checks for bank customers. There may or may not be charge associated with it. If there is a charge, it may be between 2% to 5% of the check value. If you are around new jersey, New york, Pennslvania, DElaware Then you should go to commerce bank, they do it at no cost to commerce bank account holders

Just about any bank or credit union will cash a Treasury check (income tax return), even though you may not be a customer. Make sure that you have a positive ID!

All banks will cash income tax checks, if you arent a member of that bank they will charge a fee to do so.

Any bank can. You should use your own bank though, or the bank that the check is drawn off of.

To my knowledge, all banks gladly cash income tax (IRS) checks.
