I have the worst headache..............

I just talked 2 the pharmacist.....he told me 2 take Tylonol instead.......Aleve is hard on the somach........Thanx though

There is no direct interaction between these two drugs. If it is your first dose of Aleve you can take two pills (225mg) now and then only one more after 8 to 12 hours and that would be your maximum for the next 24 hours (3 tablets)

The pharmacist you talked to is clever because he is assuming you might be taking the Pepcid AC for a stomach condition. If this stomach condition including a risk of ulcer, or any stomach pain for that matter, then acetaminophen (Tylenol) might be a safer choice, because Aleve can irritate your stomach lining and potentially aggrevate the condition your treating with the Pepcid AC!

There is no right answer here, it will have to be a judgment call based on the seriousness of your stomach condition.

No serious problems. The interactions between the two drugs are at the link below. The combination of Alleve with acetaminophen is a really good combo. Also no interaction.

Yes, I don't know of aleve and pepcid ac interacting. I think you should be fine. I take prescription medication for reflux and can take aleve.

Yes, that is fine, they won't interact. You should only take one alleve at a time though.
