There may be more members from the UK on http://www.christiancafe.com than in on most UK sites.... I met my wife there and she never paid a cent for her membership. She kept adding to her free time by getting other people to sign up (you get extra days or a week for doing that). It might work for you, and it's free for the first few days so you can try it without paying anything.

Christa.net is free but because it's free you have to beware of lots of people are just saying they are christians to find a wife/husband. Unfortunatly if you want them pre-screened your best would be one of the sites you have to pay for like e-harmony.com.
