I do not need anyone to tell me that this guy was a fool or that I believe in the tooth fairy, however i have always thought it was an interesting statement. Please have a think about it and reply in terms of philospical/theological/sociological thinking.

Me: If I'm Christian what do you believe in?

Him: I dont believe in anything

Me: So you're an Athiest then?

Him: (Agressively) No! I told you I dont believe in anything like that.

Its not been long and that was interesting.

Part of the reason I didnt want to be told I believed in the toothfairy is because.........I'm not Christian anymore, neither am i athiest or agnostic.

Nice to see how many people are ignoring the question and trumpeting old well worn beliefs or easy answers

Also well done that guy I was 13 and he was 15 - read the question thats not the point. Try to be a little more impressive and creative in your answers like the nilhilistic answers at least someone is thinking.

Many people have a set of beliefs, or in his case non-beliefs but do not wish to have them identified by a particular religion or group. Some find it offensive to have their beliefs labeled as a particular religion even though the beliefs may be identical. I think this has less to do with be religious and more to do with maintaining a sense of individuality and independence.

I think that may pepole do not want to be labeled as religious in any right. Athiesm is seen as a form of organized religion, even though it is anti-God. I went through the same thing. I did not see my self as Christian, and i did not believe in God, but I never considered the fact that i was an athiest. It is looked upon so negatively...

either way, maybe he is just confised and angry toward religion/God.

all people who says "you're no longer the superb till you circulate to the WWE" is a f*cking fool. i will call a lot of wrestlers interior the international no longer in WWE that are 10x greater effective than over a million/2 of the WWE roster outstanding now. Austin Aries, Chris Hero, Davey Richards, KENTA, Kota Ibushi, Shingo, AJ varieties, Samoa Joe, Desmond Wolfe, Christopher Daniels, homicide, Mistico, Motor city gadget weapons, The Briscoes, youthful dollars/technology Me, Dragon baby, Colt Cabana, and so on.. Can all people certainly say with a at contemporary face say that the WWE roster is large? Can all people certainly say that a roster with Sheamus, The Miz, large Khali, David Otunga, Vladimir Kozlov, Mark Henry, Hornswoggle, John Cena and Randy Orton is large? i do no longer care in the event that they have Chris Jericho, side and CM Punk, the WWE roster outstanding now as an entire is extremely poor. WWE isn't the superb advertising interior the international and that i do no longer understand how all people might desire to assert they are. WWE has the a number of worst wrestlers interior the international outstanding now (large Khali and Mark Henry are 2 examples). and to no longer point out the reality that WWE does not care regarding the midcard titles. it extremely is a shame what the IC identify, the Tag group titles, and the U.S. identify have become over the final 5 years. they are truthfully meaningless. WWE marks/fanboys can supply me as many thumbs down's as they desire yet i do no longer provide a sh*t. BQ: puzzling to decide on because they are all large tag communities, yet i think of i'll circulate with the The Briscoes.

Well some think that the term "Athiest" does connote a certain series of beliefs.

This person does seem to be AGNOSTIC or a NILIST or however you spell it.

True Athiest, however, will claim that they do not have any "beliefs."

So perhaps this person doesn't know what you mean by the term "Athiest."

With these statements, it is almost as if he is not acknowledging there is a god or there isn't a god. An athiest doesn't believe in a god. A Christian believes in a god. One that believes neither of those doesn't acknowledge either belief. He basically believes in a void.

You have to clarify your question (If I'm Christian, what do you believe in?) as it is very vague. It could mean anything, maybe "Him" didn't understand what you were asking.....or maybe Him didn't understand what an Aetheist is.

Philosophical qusestions need to be very clear, unless they are deliberately Vague in order to see what the other person understands by what you have said, and how they respond. In which case you should be prepared for any answer, and make of it what you will...........

Given the small snippet of the conversation, it would be difficult to determine the context of the remark. Add to this the genuinely human proclivity to want to appear to be on the winning side, and it becomes nearly impossible.

He's probably stating that he is agnostic rather than an atheist.

I assume the word "like" was used about 25,000 times too.

Good luck in 7th grade biology this year.

There is only one thing worse than not believing in anything.
It is believing in everything.

There once was a comedian who said I believe in everything, every concept, every ideology, every theology, every philosophy, and that don't leave much room for argument.
He could always, say, 'Yea, I believe in that too'.

I thought you could use a little humor.

As one Atheist said in this group, he just believe in one less god than we do.

Atheism is a conscious denial of the existence of any god or gods. [Theophilus' dictionary]

In Luke 11:32 Jesus said;
'He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth'.
