Creationists suggest that evolution means men came from monkeys.

Some evolutionists over-play their hand. I have in mind Richard Dawkins who takes scientific explanations of phenomena as disproving God. He doesn't seem to appreciate that science cannot, even in principle, explain everything: its doesn't look at and doesn't see everything! Science can only, in principle explain all things scientific.

Some evolutionists have also been guilty of lying to try and bolster their particular theories. Science is not devoid of the ambition we see in all other areas of life. Its not common but if you can secure money and reputation by forging a fossil or tweaking some data then some people will always be tempted.

Creationists have lied more crudely, obviously and generally. They tend to lie in three different ways:
1. Bringing into evolution what simply isn't there so that they can debunk that and pretend they're debunking evolution. They think, for example, they can debunk the Big Bang. The Big Bang has nothing to do with evolution but IF YOU PRETEND IT DOES you can score a point.
2. Misquoting and distortion. This is often blatant. A scientist says that a study of the fossil record shows that evolution happened in "fits and starts" not gradually. Its true to say that the scientist says "the fossil record disproves evolution by gradual change". Of course what he means is AND PROVES EVOLUTION BY SUDDEN CHANGE. The dishonest creationist drops this claim, the words "by gradual change" and splashes "the fossil record disproves evolution" all across his website.
3. Wilful stupidity. By this I mean using arguments that simply don't hold up and KNOWING THAT THEY DON'T HOLD UP. Examples are the "its only a theory", "if we decended from apes why are there still apes" etc. Their arguments present a moving target, if you falsify one part of their belief they move onto another. You falsify the second and they move onto a third, you falsify the third and they move back to the first "forgetting" that you've shown it to be false. They use ad hominem arguments (Darwin repented n his deathbed - both ad hominem and very doubtfull). I am reluctant to believe that those putting forward such arguments really believe that they add to their case - the argument descends into rhetoric and (thus) dishonesty.

You'll gather from the above that whilst I think both sides in the debate have been guilty of dishonesty that dishonesty is endemic within creationism. This very much suprises me given the other characterisations of the participants. Your average evolutionist is caricatured as being both Godless and materialist. Whilst the average creationist is caricatured as being devout. So why is it that the devout ones are the ones who miss:

"Thou shalt not bear false witness"

Evolutionists do not lie about Creationism - creationism does a well enough job on its own. Creationism lies about Evolution and calls it a theory (using common vernacular rather than the scientific meaning of the word theory) and claims there is no proof. Whenever a transitional fossil is supplied to a Creationist, they demand the transitional fossil between that fossil and its predecessor, ad infinitum. It is a losing battle speaking with a Creationist.

For Evolution, there are several things they have stated to go against creationalism. One being Nebraska Man, but that turned out to be a big bunch of hooha. They created an entire man from a tooth they said belonged to a human/ape. However it ended up after further study belonging to a Pig. They had already published articles saying they found the missing link. It was a crock of crap especially since the darn tooth didn't even belong to an ancient pig either, it belonged to ones that are still alive today. But, we too have creationalist who have said things that have not been accurate either. No one man in any field is perfect. I suppose each one gets excited in His discovery and then jumps the gun before really looking at the facts.

Here is a Simple Answer:

Evolutionist have lied about creationism by claiming that God Almighty the Creator had no role in brining life to the Universe.

Creationist have lied about evolution by claiming that evolution does not exsist. Evolution most defienetly exsists.

I have many times heard creationist say things like "If we evolved from apes, why are there still apes?" this question itself exposes their lack of understanding of how evolution works. I've also heard them say "evolution has been disproven". If this is the case why haven't scientists enmass abandoned it as an explanation? The only thing I've heard from evolutionists is: "There is no evidence for creationism". As far as I know, that is fact. If anyone has any evidence why isn't it brought forward for peer review by scientists?

Many scientists are guilty of exageration with few, if any, outright lies. The defense of Biblical Creationism start with rhetorical deceit (loaded simple-sounding questions) and from there descends into a maelstrom of lies and slanders. There are websites dedicated to debunking the myriad lies.

If man evolved from ape. then where are all the bones of these transitional life forms(Half-man.half ape?)the dinosaurs remains have been found and those guys lived way back in 2 million b.c.So why haven't people found the Half man half ape bones? maybe Bigfoot needs to be captured and studied. He's not called "the missing link "for nothing.

Read "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. There is a lot of information about that there. Evolution is not a religion, and those who support it haven't "lied" about anything. There isn't any room for lies in science, the hypothesis is either strong enough to become theory or it is not. Youcan be mistaken, and science admits when it has made a mistake and actually seems to welcome the opportunity to find the answers.

Creationists have taken every little gap in the fossil record and claimed this as proof of Genesis so many times that their deity has become known as the "God of the Gaps".

I think everyone took more of a guess becuase when you think about it, no one actually knows what happened for certaina nd therefore, no one can be sure that one person has lied about something while the other told the truth.
