Marriage scares men for sure, because they are the ones stuck with the responsibilities and burdens of making a living, whereas women can duck in and out of the workforce whenever they want and can divorce at the drop of a hat and use the man's children against him to extort more money in the divorce settlement. There is no reason for a man to get married these days.

Actually it doesn't. I'll be fine if I never get married. Growing up its not something I always dreamed about like most girls do, to me I thing marriage is a waste of time. Maybe i think this because I have seen a lot of marriages fail growing up. Marriage to me is a lot of money down the drain wasted on an expense wedding that will just end up in a divorce costing you even more money. I think as long as you are committed to someone then you don't really have to get married. Look at Gene Simmons(from Kiss) and his girlfriend they've been together for years longer then most married couples.

Too late...I did it! I think getting married is scarier than NOT getting married! Divorce is not an option unless something absolutely insane happens (like he becomes a psycho serial killer, grows another head, or has a sex change operation...none of which, BTW, is likely to occur) and that means I will be waking up next to him for the next like at least forty years....unless he doesn't start picking up his dirty clothes in which case I will bury him in the back yard and contemplate whether the thought of never getting remarried in my whole life scares me. :-P

Actually, the thought of ever getting married scares the living crap out of me. The thought of dying single gives me warm feelings.

i have some cousins that just recently turned 30..and i can tell they mad that thye not married yet. and ppl r always like why arent they married yet..they're never gonna get married....but i think that ppl will get married when the right time comes. and if they never end up gettin married then i guess just that wasnt meant to be??

It doesn't scare me. I would like to get married some day, but I don't think my life would feel 'incomplete' if I didn't.

In Some way. I would like to find a girl and raise children but i don't know if I'll have them. But it's ok for me to live alone as long as I have friends.

not at all. I really dont beleive in getting married to soon. So many people jump into it and it usually doesn't last long. I hope that i do find that person but i'm not looking.it will come to you.

yes it does. everytime i think of my future i think of me married and with kids but then i think what if that never happens and it scares me to death. i've had 2 failed engagements already and i'm starting to believe it's not meant to be or something but then i think third time's a charm and that calms me a bit.
