I really want to believe, however when a look at the past of this county of slavey and until the mid-sixties segregation , all of the problems that are in the world today, 9-11, hurricanes, tornados, tsunamis, rapes, murders, cancer, aids, terror, homeless kids, i want to believe but would a god who loves everyone have this happen on his earth. did god want there to segregation, did he want planes to crash into building on 9-11, did he want kids washed away in the tsunami. if he exist, why is this world such a bad and dangerous place and getting worse by the day.

While I don't believe that God exist, I also don't believe the world is getting worse. There have always been dangers, and there will always be dangers. Life is full of risk and it is all too brief. However, people live longer, people live better, and people have more choices than pretty much at any time in history. And while the choices available to people who can afford to have computers are broader than to those who are more impoverished, the wealth is spreading through the globe. The world is improving in many ways, and in some ways it still has a lot of improvements to make.

This is a good question, because God wants you to know the answer. The bible teaches us that our loving God is not causing but allowing wickedness for a time. This helps man to understand the need for God's Kingdom and the chosen King, Jesus to govern us. We cannot govern ourselves without harm. The world IS getting worse every day, and turning to the Bible, we find the silver lining in this fact.

Read 2 Timothy 3:1-5 and you'll see that the societal ills so prevalent today were foretold as signs of the last days. That's the silver lining- these are the last days of wickedness. Revelation 12:9, 12 show that the Heavens were cleansed of Satan and the other angels who stopped serving God, and that they were hurled to earth having great anger because they have only a short time left to mislead mankind before the world is cleansed too. This is largely why we see so much wickedness on the earth, especially in the last hundred years more so than in all generations past.

When Jesus was on earth, he healed the sick, resurrected the dead, and was a perfect reflection of God's love. The people at that time expected him to become King, but it was not time. The miracles he performed showed a foregleam of what he will do as King of God's Messianic Kingdom. God's right to rule was challenged by Satan at the start of man's history. Adam and Eve chose to decide right and wrong for themselves instead of respecting God's authority. The following article discusses God's sovereignty, suffering, and what God's Kingdom will soon do to eliminate suffering for all mankind.

Do you know how many cells live in your body? You cannot see them right? They cannot see you either.
When someone has cancer which means that some cells in your body are sick. What do doctors do? They delete them.
The same with people and God. Human beings is a cancer in body of God. All bad human being will be deleted.
Keep doing wrong if you like but one day you will have to pay for that

Good question. How did you get this idea of what a "problem" is?A man does not call a line crooked unless he has some idea of a straight line. You and I can only detect evil because there's an unchanging standard of justice and peace written on our hearts. We can't know what is evil unless we know what is good. And you can't know what good is unless there is an unchanging standard of good outside yourself. Without that objective standard, any objection to evil is nothing but your personal opinion.

God is loving. No he does not want those things to happen. The reason why things seem so bad is because of sin. Humans wrecked everything. It was all perfect in the beginning. One day it will be that way again!

This world is getting worse by the minute because that is exactly what the Bible predicts will happen as we get closer to the rapture.
Why would God allow all of this to happen? I guess if we knew that we would have the wisdom of God. And if we had His wisdom what need would there be for Him. If you want to believe then you must have faith that there is a plan. Just because we don't understand it, (and sometimes don't even like it) doesn'tmean that God doesn't have it all under control. Faith is all you need. God has taken care of the rest.

Since Adam and Eve, sin entered the world. This is why there is evil in the world. That and the Lucifer.

Free will..... Our free will is another why there is so many problems in the world.

Without our free will we would just be robots doing whatever we were programed to do. God wants people who love Him on their own, not because He made them to.

I recently gave my heart to god....i believe he exists and i think that you should read the bible to get your real answers but hope this helps......god flooded the world because of all the bad in it and gave us the rainbow as a reminder that he would never know it again.......plus he gave all man free will to chose for our selves right and wrong. he wants us to come to him and to worship him on our own. he only allows us to deal with what we can.....also many believe that this is the end times and we are going to see a lot of bad happen........but if nothing else think of this.......if god isn't real and we die and that's it than we have nothing to worry about but if he is and we don't do the right thing than we go to hell were we will be in pain FOREVER!! so is it really worth not believing??

Well, I look at it this way, there are bad people in the world. fact. Humans make mistakes and God gave us free will so we choose to do what we want. The fact we destroy the earth is our choice. And I don't know about the tsunmais and things. Things happen. I guess we will never know for certain until we die.

simple, because this world in not ruled by Jesus yet..when He returns it will be His...but as the scriptures tell that Satan is the ruler of this planet at this time...as far as why God allows those things to happen, He is bound by His own law and cannot break them...ie...free will to all humans...
