Possibly as iran is becoming increasingly more involved.I know british troops in basra have started doing patrols along the iranian border to stop insurgency. Also there is a threat israel will attack iran within a year for which iran replied that they would flood 1.5 000,000 troops into iraq

Iran has been at war with us for years, so I don't know why it's a surprise that maybe we want to defend our new Iraqi Allies from them.

As for who wants to be President in '08, I believe the count is currently about 1500 Democrats and 6 Republicans.

If Iranians are in Iraq stirring things up, then Bush is right in doing this, but to go to war with Iran is insane. I hope I'm wrong, but I expect another Tonkin Gulf type of incident to occur.

No, just further away from solving the mess in Iraq. As far as that second question, I can't imagine anybody wanting to clean up after the elephants in 2008. You lose on so many different fronts before you set foot in office.

I can't have Reagan or Bush, so I will be voting for McCain; he supports the war and is, from what I have read, the most conservative out of the current Republicans running for office.
