Several years ago(1974 or75) my Aunt had a little boy. He was placed in foster care because she was an alcoholic and neglected him. I met him only once. My Mom told me this that my aunt refused to allow him to be adopted and he possibly was bounced from foster home to foster home.
I think about him every once in awhile, I guess I want to know if he's okay etc. The other thing is that he may not be my cousin but my half-brother. I learned some info the other day from a family member that my "aunt" may actually be my biological Mother and my "Mom" is my actually my aunt.
If the above is true I don't think that my Mom would ever tell me.

I don't have any idea where my Aunt is.
My parents would never admit to anything like me being adopted
I know that I never felt like I belonged in my parents family but could never put my finger on it-thats why I think that my relative is telling the truth
When I was a kid I found it strange that my Mom would frequently call me by my Aunt's name

Can my birth cert be altered to say my parents names and not the biological parents-legally. I also find it strange that there is not one photo of my Mom during the time she was pregnant with me

I only know his first name-I do not remember his last name-if my aunt put his father's name as his last name. I only remember his father's first name was Tom.
