We're chatting on messenger. You ask what I look like, and I say 5'10, black hair, brown eyes, 180lbs.

You are really liking that description.

Later I send you a picture and you see I am a man of color (black and white to be exact.) I'm no model, but no troll either. Average I guess.

You either "vanish", or kill off any romantic or physical possibilities.

If you are talking to a guy with my description, w/o mention of race, is it assumed he is white??

I just get frustrated by this, as I am attracted to white girls. I know some aren't attracted to whoever, but why does this keep happening?

Your first description of yourself I would not assume you were white. Now if it said 5'10" blonde hair blue eyes...yes I would assume. Maybe when you first start talking to a girl, maybe you should mention your race whenever you do describe yourself. (Its sad now a days that race is a leading factor in whether or not you like someone). Then if they do "vanish" at least it happened within the first little while and instead of after a great conversation.

I wouldn't assume anything, I try to keep myself from doing that because it usually ends up hurting someone, so no. But it wouldn't matter to me either way really.

You'll have better luck if you just came straight out with it in order to avoid the let down later on, my friend. Me personal I preferr "pure bloods, like Seal."

You just haven't come across the right person for you.
You shouldn't have to mention your race as it doesn't matter; it doesn't determine if you are a good person or not.

I wouldn't assume he's white, but it wouldn't really matter to me either way.
