Always! Sometimes it sneaks up on me, sometimes it eases into it's worse stage on the party day, I threw up at my own party once!

I can feel a tiny sore throat going on, how can I nip this thing in the bud before it gets any worse? I am so excited about my birthday, I don't want this to ruin it!

Also, why do I always get sick on my birthday?

it's most likely that with all the excitment of your upcoming birthday, and your anxiety about falling ill on the day you manage to stress your self into become sick... Just relax, don't stress about what might or might not happen, make sure you eat well, and your body gets some rest before the night, don't over do it in the build up, and then party hard on the big day!!! Have a good birthday, many happy returns!!!!

My partner's birthday is also in February. It is just the reason to get anxious all birthdays are, that special anniversary day we feel the world owes something to us, stop and take notice of that I, among its millions. Well justified for without us there is no world for us to acknowledge in fact. I for one celebrate my birthdays for my family and extended family to rejoice or wonder. By the way, cakes must be blamed also.I wish your next birthday turns out event-less (in the sense no sick) but quite an event.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, do you enjoy the food? its about you been so happy or been so disgusted.
Usually past traumas can make us sick too, I used to threw up a lot in a long trip (by car ) when I was child, then everytime that I travel my stomach hurts ( by car, by plane, anything ).
If you get really happy probably one of your hormones are functioning really high the day of your birthday and they trick you.
See a doctor to count your hormones tell them about this,
I thougth you hate your birthday when I first read your question , then I thougth maybe some one has hurt you in one of your childhood birthday, but could be more phisicall than post traumatic psycologic event.
I hope this helps

Oh my gosh that's weird because I always get sick on my birthday too. Your probably just nervous or excited about the big day, try to calm yourself down about it. Prepare for the day, leaving barf bags out and stuff. At least that's what I did

get some zycam quick! it doesn't really do anything for the symptoms, but it makes you get over it much faster. they have different kinds, one is a nasal spray, one's a dissolving tablet, and one's a swab. i started getting sick on tuesday night, and today i'm almost over it already.
