My best friend and I are very silly. We are old enough to drink, but we also find other creative things to do. Some dance clubs have 18 plus night. Some have teenager nights.
We sometimes go to furniture stores and pretend we are shopping. You can also talk to sales associates and they are more than happy to answer your questions about layaway, interest, delivery, etc. Then you can say, "Wow, I'm interested, but I have to check out my budget!"
We also go to a bookstore and get some coffee. While we are there we check out various books and get ideas. Some places, like Barnes and Nobles have head phones in the music department and you can check out different songs and artists with these machines.
My best friend and I have gone to an arcade later at night when it's not as busy and we have the place to ourselves! We also drive around and just take our time. Sometimes we drive around and make a list of various things we want to try out. We go to Science Centers and Art Galleries. Just so we can say "we did that"!

I would say go to the library or a movie place and get movies and stay home and watch them.Bring popcorn and pop!
