I think if I am it would be very much around the low end of the spectrum. Is there anyway to find out?

I'm a pretty un-emtoinal person. I'm passionate about things, just never really emotional about them.

Like, REALLY low on the spectrum. Maybe not even technically autistic.

My son is on the low in of the spectrum. He was diagnosed at 18 months old. It was obvious something was wrong with him. He walked around on his tiptoes, he never said a word, could stand for hours swaying from side to side, would only eat one food..oatmeal. He is older now....he still can not talk, he can not read, and can not spell, when he gets mad he bangs his head into the wall and bites himself hard, and he does not know how to use a computer. I do not think you would be on the lower end of the spectrum of autism.

I agree with answers listed below

1) If you were autistic you probably would not be in Yahoo answers, but persons with Autism do not really feel emontions (which you are experiancing by asking such a question)

2) Most autistic people for the most part are anti social and can not communicate (thus revert to #1)

3) If you have gone through high school or grammer school and have not been tested then I don't believe that you would be.

Though not autistic you could have hypersensitivity, meaning you are sensative to situations around you, this can be caused by depression etc...anxiety, if you are questioning your mental state seek help from a mental health counseler!

ask the ppl around u if they notice ne thing strange aboout ur behavior

if i knew u i could tell easily because my bro is autistic, so i hav a lot of experience around autistic ppl

i couldnt tell u all the symptoms of autism because there r so many different types of autism, here r a couple:

talking 2 urself (more than other ppl normally do)
being in2 one subject and talking about it with someone else nonstop evn if they dont care about it
"humming", its not really humming, but its a noise that some ppl make that kinda resembles humming
get way 2 emotional ovr things such as which fabric softener to use
being indecisive ovr the smallest things (such as which fabric softener 2 buy when theyre the same price, and u like them both)

Autism involves being in your own little worls, and out of touch with reality. This does NOT sould like you, judging from the way you write.

Sure, testing is available from a medical professional.

Its unlikely that you would have reached adulthood without something being noticed. I don't think there are any tests to test adults!;
